Situated at the foot of the Kredouw Pass in the picturesque Prince Albert Valley, Kredouw Olive Estate boasts an olive press for the processing of cold pressed extra virgin olive oil.
This oil is extracted from a selection of varieties of handpicked Italian Olives, grown on the Estate, and blended to achieve a unique flavour.
During the olive season, there is a viewing window of the press and visitors are welcome to see the operation first hand. Olive picking and pressing takes place from the end of March to the end of June each year.
The Karoo Virgin Olive Oil Shop on the Estate sells olive oil, good coffee, tea, other farm products and beautiful gifts. Kredouw Olive Estate offers beautiful walks, hikes, mountain biking and bird watching.

Choose a container size at the farm stall and head off to the strawberry picking rows where the real fun begins.
There are different strawberries to choose from - we grow Californian varieties Honour, Splendour, Virtue, Commitment, Albion and Valour. Each variety is unique with differences in size and taste. The sweetest strawberry is bright red, eaten fresh from the fields at room temperature.
Small container R15 container (+-500g), Large container R25 container (+-1kg)
Every person entering the fields requires their own container. Little ones will need plenty of supervision when picking their strawberries. For hygiene reasons, no eating is allowed in the fields. Once your container is full and you have exited the field, the eating can begin!
Strawberry picking is seasonal and weather dependent.

If you like seafood, try Café Gannet (Mossel Bay's 'seafood house'), De Vette Mossel (if you have a big appetite) or the numerous popular restaurants that are situated right on the water's edge.
The Mossel Bay Food Route was launched during the first Proe Mosselbaai festival held in 2013. During the festival special foodie events take place at venues all over the district.
Put on your walking shoes and discover the historical buildings and facts in the Old Quarter of Mossel Bay.

Some of the buildings you will see include churches, schools, homes, municipal and commercial buildings as well as the Cape St Blaize Lighthouse all of which were built between 1830 and 1900.

Since 1977, Cango Wildlife Ranch has been able to thrill its visitors with its variety of animals and breeding programmes. It is a facility offering far more than the average zoo. Cango Wildlife Ranch believes in
conservation and they know it is vital to protect all species for the generations to come. By educating the public, they try to ensure that the message of conservation comes across and that visitors, both young and old, realize just how fragile our planet is and how vital it is to conserve endangered species before it is too late.
Initially, Cango Wildlife Ranch started off as a crocodile show farm and in 1986 it was bought by Andrew and Glenn Eriksen. 1988 saw the birth of The Cheetah Preservation Foundation to highlight the plight of the endangered cheetah. Today more than 170 cheetahs have been born at this facility and the Ranch's many visitors are given the opportunity to become actively involved in and form part of The Cheetah Preservation Foundation.
